Job Description:
Candidate will be in charge of developing strategic research themes in material physics, involving strong multidisciplinary internal interactions and partnerships between universities and the company worldwide.
Subjects of Responsibility Contact Physics: visco-elastic contacts, rough surface contacts, wear.
Physics of materials: multiscale understanding of the macroscopic properties (fracture, dissipation, fatigue, aging…) of such materials as polymer mixes and compound materials.
Requirements:
- PhD degree or Masters with relevant research type of experience
- Scientists with a double experience in material physico-chemistry and mechanics (tribology, fracture…) will be given special attention.
- For senior scientists, experience in managing research projects will be taken into account.
- French language skill is a plus
