• Recruit and advise prospective students to provide them with the necessary college information and resources
• Organize and provide tours of the college and program areas to individuals, families, and high school groups
• Represent Minnesota State College-Southeast Technical at college fairs and at various community events
• Coordinate and visit high school counselors and students at 40-60 area high schools during the fall and spring semesters
• Communicate effectively via email, phone and in person to prospective students and high school counselors in regards to college questions and the admission process
• Collaborate with Marketing, Student Services, and Academic Services to maintain consistent marketing message is presented
• Utilize student data to effectively recruit and create recruitment strategies
• Present college information in high school classroom presentations, parent teacher conferences, and college fair environments
• Participate in and assist with new student orientation
• Provide career advising to prospective and current students

• Bachelors degree
• Strong written, oral communication and presentation skills
• Demonstrated organization skills, multi-tasking ability and attention to detail
• Ability to work without direct supervision
• Ability to work successfully with persons of diverse backgrounds
• Ability to be flexible and collaborate with student affairs staff
• Ability to use technology in a PC Windows environment
• Travel required within the scope of the position (some overnight)

         Masters degree

         Experience working at a university or college in admissions or enrollment management recruiting students
