Montgomery College is seeking to compile a database of qualified candidates for Secretarial positions. The Office of Human Resources receives requests to fill temporary administrative and clerical positions and will use this pool of candidates to help fill those positions.
These temporary positions are non-bargaining with no benefits:
Job Summary:
The work involves providing a variety of duties and responsibilities that could range from general office support to more technical or specialized senior administrative support services.
Education & Training:
High school diploma or G.E.D required. An AA degree preferred or equivalent work experience. Must be able to type 40 words per minute.
Qualifications: These temporary position require the following:
An individual who is efficient, highly organized, detail-oriented and self-motivated.
The ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written.
The ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Time management and organizational skills.
Data entry and customer service skills
Microsoft Office Suite applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Experience:
Positions require prior experience in responsible office/secretarial positions. Knowledge and experience with general office equipment, e-mail and Windows are required. Experience working with a highly diverse population is preferred.
