The Montgomery College Adult ESOL/Literacy-GED Program is seeking teachers of Adult Literacy, GED and English as a Second Language for Adults. Come join the largest adult education program in Maryland! Our program focuses on life, literacy, and civic skills and GED instruction. Classes meet days, evenings, or Saturdays at various sites throughout the county.
We offer an extensive professional development program with stipends for workshops and trainings, and reimbursement for registration costs. Planning time is paid as are meetings and in-services.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in TESOL, Special Education, or General Education is required.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
- Teaching experience is required.
Part-time faculty positions are Non-Bargaining without benefits.
