Part-time Faculty- Health Enhancement
The Health Enhancement Department, Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus, is seeking a part-time Health faculty member for the Fall 2008 semester. The part-time faculty member will be teaching general health and nutrition courses.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required in health, physical education or a related field.
- A current CHES certification is required.
- Availability during the day is required.
- A Master’s Degree preferred in health, physical education or a related field
Montgomery College, is seeking to compile a database of qualified candidates for part-time teaching opportunities.
- Each semester’s employment of a part-time faculty member is dependent upon the needs of the College and available funds.
- Part-time faculty positions are Non-Bargaining without benefits.
- Part-time faculty at Montgomery College may teach no more than 10 ESH (equivalent student hours) per semester.
- Each part-time faculty member is contracted for one semester at a time.
- Part-time faculty are paid biweekly throughout the semester.
