Job Description

Were seeking a talented and versatile Graphic Designer to join our in-house creative team. We need someone with proven creative skills and the ability to manage multiple projects within tight deadlines. Applicants should have artistic vision, an eye for detail, and a love of design, typography, and PRINT. This role requires a team player who can understand diverse manufactured mail products and execute direct mail design work that speaks persuasively to its respective audiences.

  • Conceiving, designing, and producing direct mail components for print that drive response in various segments including not-for-profit and insurance marketing.
  • Designing paper premium gift pieces including greeting cards, calendars, sticker sheets, brochures, etc.
  • Ensuring that the design and production of each piece adheres to established manufacturing specifications for various print platforms, including flexo and conventional lithographic print.
  • Setting up digital variable text layered files for complex test matrices.
  • Designing and producing all assigned projects in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Responding to instruction and feedback from Creative Director, other graphic designers and copywriters to execute creative strategies.
  • Diligently maintaining design library, digital files, and time-reporting records.
Required Skills
  • Bachelor degree in discipline related to functional work
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in graphic design with a proven portfolio of work.
  • Strong skills in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) in a Mac environment.
  • Expert knowledge of all stages of graphic design from concept to production.
  • Ability to produce a large volume of creative, artistic product in a quick-turn environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Superior organizational and time-management skills when prioritizing and meeting required deadlines.
  • Experience working in a corporate or agency creative team setting with copywriters and other designers.
  • Strong understanding of direct response marketing techniques.
  • Working knowledge of US Postal Service specifications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) in a Mac environment
