Job Description:
Perform electrical repair and preventive maintenance on all equipment in both plants. Maintenance team members will be involved in maintenance activity covering mechanical, electrical, building and electronics. The purpose of this team is to support the Green Bay and DePere Plant operations with maintenance activity to ensure an efficient production operation.
Key Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions % Time Internal/External Customer:
1. Assist all production team members to maintain maximum efficiency in terms of machine operation, make-ready, and lost-time to meet plant objectives.
2. Perform preventative maintenance as assigned.
3. Responsible for wiring new equipment and systems.
4. Be familiar with Power Distribution systems.
5. Upgrade existing wiring on plant equipment and systems.
6. Complete assigned projects accurately as soon as possible.
7. Maintain and upgrade personal skill levels required to do the job properly.
8. Give high priority to safety work orders.
9. Perform other duties as assigned by team leader.
10. Cooperate with other areas so as to contribute to general plant efficiency.
11. Offer any suggestions and recommendations that will improve operations, the product, training and safety.
12. Overtime as required.
13. Comply with all safety rules and regulations.
14. Work with outside vendors to repair, install and update all equipment.
15. Be prepared for changes in duties and responsibilities due to plant growth, equipment changes, and shift requirements.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Must stay current with wiring codes and maintain license as Journeyman Electrician or should have a minimum of five (5) years experience, two years should be industrial experience. Ability to troubleshoot electrical problems. Ability to repair AC/DC motors and controls. Ability to use VOM, meter, and test equipment to diagnose problem areas. Ability to read wiring schematics.
