Dynamic Simulation Specialist Job Location: Fairfax, VA Salary/Wage: Education Level: Status: Career Level: ROLE:
The Successful Candidate will Lead the Effort of Development, Implementation, and Support Operator-Training Simulator Projects at all Sites Worldwide;
Will Perform the Dynamic Simulation Scoping Studies;
Will be Responsible for the Management and Coordination of Simulation Projects, and Project Related Vendor and Client Interactions; and
Will Provide Expertise in the Application of Dynamic Simulations to Design, Engineering Analysis, and Control Applications.
DESIRED SKILLS:
BS / MS / Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering with 10 Years of Building Operator Training Simulators;
Strong Project Management Skills Working with Vendors, Suppliers and Contractors;
Simulation Experience in a Broad Range of Refinery and Chemical Process Units;
Process Dynamics and Control Knowledge / Experience; and Familiarity with Major Dynamic Simulation Packages, E.G., HYSYS, Shadowplant, DYNSIM;
Familiarity with Honeywell Distributed Control Systems TDC3000 and familiarity with TPS A Plus; and
Strong Leadership and Communication Skills.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Willing to Travel, Nearly 25%, Both Domestic and Internationally.
To Qualify - You Must Have All Of The Following Requirements:
Minimum 7 Years Direct Work Experience
In Our Clients' Industry Performing The Specified Roles / Functions
College Bachelors Degree In Chemical Enginnering
Accredited College Or University / Masters and PhD's Welcome
USA Citizenship Or USA Permanent Resident Card
