Downstream Refining & Petrochemicals Major Capital Projects Groups
Supporting Over 40 Refineries & Petrochemical Plants Within the USA and / or Internationally For Plant Optimization & Modernization Projects, Plant Revamps, and Plant Technical Support.
These Positions Are Also In Their Refining & Petrochemical Complex Support Groups
Job Location: Fairfax VA / Houston TX / Baton Rouge LA
Salary/Wage: $95,000.00 - $140,000.00 USD /year

Responsibilities:
Evaluate, Recommend, and Implement New Technologies;
Develop and Implement New Analyzer Applications for use in Advanced Process Control and Other Plant Operating Needs, i.e., Feedstock Qualification, Product Quality Certification, Environmental Compliance;
Interface with Diverse Groups Including Vendors, Analyzer Technicians, Process Operations and Console Technicians, Process Designers, and Process Computer Control Engineers;
Provide Daily Technical Expertise to Operations and Maintenance Departments Relative to Support of Process Analyzer Systems Improving Analyzer Performance, Systems Reliability, and Reducing Required Maintenance;
Provide Technology Direction for Improving Analyzer Performance, Improving Analyzer System Reliability and Reducing Required Maintenance;
Support Onstream Process Analyzer and Sampling Systems Design, Installation, and Commissioning associated with Major Projects to Include:Capital Project Scoping, Execution Planning, Cost Estimating, Front End Engineering, Factory Acceptance Testing & Startup, Contractor Quality Control.
Knowledge and Familiarity with the Following:
Physical and Chemical Principles Associated with Overpressure, Materials Compatability;
Familiar with Process Gas Chromatograph System Suppliers such as Siemens Applied Automation and/or ABB;
Familiar with Continuous Analyzer System Suppliers such as Panametrics, Teledyne, Ametek, Rosemont, and Servomex;
Have Working Knowledge of Industry Standards and Regulations (ISA, NEC, ASTM, etc.).
Must Be Computer Literate and Proficient with Most Windows Office Programs. Knowledge of Programming Languages (Visual Basic, C++) A Plus.
Some Positions Require Only Domestic Travel or Local Complex Support
Some Positions Require International Travel and/or Relocation (usually Family Status) & Up to 50% Travel

Minimum 7 Years Direct Work Experience

College Bachelors Degree In Electrical or Chemical Engineering
