Needed To Fill Direct-Hire Full-Time Employment Positions With A Major Oil & Gas Company
In Their Upstream Oil and Gas Major Capital Projects Group
Supporting Oil and Gas and LNG Production Facilities Revamps, Expansions, and Greenfield Projects.
Projects Range From $250 Million & Up.
The Process Engineer will be part of a core staff responsible for Providing Guidance, Support, and Expertise in the area of Facilities Process Engineering to ongoing Upstream Oil and Gas / LNG Major Capital Projects, as well as Endorsement of Engineering Deliverables;
Handle the Conceptual Development of Projects through to Project Execution;
This position will be responsible for Leading Functional Initiatives to Develop Departmental Tools and Guidelines, and will also Lead Specialty-Engineering Studies on behalf of Projects;
Work activities will include Assignment to Project Teams and Travel to Various International Sites and Affiliate Locations; & possibly relocations (family status);
Provide Career Development Guidance to New Hires.
SKILL SET:
Proven Process Engineering technical skills (e.g. Process Design, Equipment Selection, HYSYS Simulation);
Good technical understanding of NGL Extraction and Fractionation Processes, LNG and Refrigeration Processes;
Experience in Offshore Engineering Designs, (e.g. Floating Production Platforms, Storage & Offloading ( FPSO ), Gas and Oil Separating Plants ( GOSP ), and/or
Good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work with project teams;
Experience Overseeing Contractor Engineering Work Activities;
Experience with Mentoring New Engineers;
Previous Operating Company and Facility Operations Support Experience a Plus;
Flexibility for Travel and/or Relocation to International Locations.
REQUIREMENTS: EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 5 Years of working experience in the Petroleum Industry.
Minimum 15 Years Left In Career Before Retirement
EDUCATION:
BS or MS Engineering (preferably Chemical Engineering)
Masters and PhD`s Welcome
USACITIZENSHIP or USAPERMANENT RESIDENT VISA REQUIRED
