Description:
NewLink Genetics Corp. a biopharmaceutical company in Ames Iowa, developing novel drugs with the primary focus on cancer. NewLink Genetics primary focus is to take novel treatments and diagnostics through the clinical trials process and bringing products to market.
Responsibilities:
- Planning and Budgeting of Phase I-III manufacturing operations
- Responsible for all manufacturing operations including but not limit to purchasing and inventory of raw materials, production, and packaging
- Overseeing Process Development for cell culture optimization and scale-up
- Coordinate manufacturing activities with the Quality department
- Write summary reports
- Supervising Training Program for all manufacturing personnel and inventory control personnel
- Manage department performance and personnel development
- Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skills
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- A minimum of a B.S., M.S., Ph.D./Pharm.D. in Biology, Pharmacy or related scientific discipline.
- Must have experience in cGMP of cell based therapeutic products
