Director Sales Operations - Material Technologies

With the company taking aggressive actions to expand and grow, they are looking to improve and upgrade their facilities across the nation and some internationally! They are looking to hire the right type of talent and a fast paced, driven type of personality.


Responsibilities include:

  • Scopes sales reporting and analysis needs
  • Coordinates sales forecasting, planning & budgeting process based on the global input from both sales regions
  • Designs, implements, & manages sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes for the rolled-up global forecasts
  • Establishes high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in planning, forecasting, and budgeting approaches used by the sales organization
  • Owns sales management cadence to distribute, review and assess sales metrics
  • Responsible for integrating sales demand forecast into demand forecast
  • Oversee Sales Operations Analyst and ensures reporting is delivered accurately and on time
  • Maintains ownership for sales systems, including (SFDC), Develop a roadmap to increase productivity through the utilization of technology and enhance the customer experience
  • Prioritizes investments in enabling technologies in support of sales organization productivity
  • Leads the ongoing Sales Operations processes to support Integrated Business Management and Financial Planning processes aligned with annual and quarterly revenue, cost, & cash flow objectives
  • Assist in pricing strategy development for product offerings throughout product life cycle and collaborates with Marketing, Sales & Technical Service to rollout plans to the market
  • Coordinates training delivery to sales, sales management, and sales support personnel in the sales organization supported
  • Achievement of firm sales, profit, & strategic objectives
  • On-time implementation of sales organization quotas and performance objectives
  • Implementation of sales organization-impacting initiatives

Required Skills

  • Strategic thinking and change agent with proven experience in managing business process improvement
  • Disciplined execution focus leveraging a measured approach
  • Able to identify and analyze opportunities for improving financial drivers throughout supply chain
  • Excellent organizational, communication, collaborative & interpersonal skills
  • Advanced presentation skills
  • Knowledge of the Manufacturing Business, Markets, Customers, and Products
  • Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management programs (
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Expert with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and related tools, PC Proficiency
  • Ability to travel globally

  • 10-15+ years of Sales Force & Sales operations expereince
  • Any BS Degree
  • Past success in doing analytics, forecasting and marketing of sales metrics as well as communication to VP of Sales

University - Bachelor`s Degree/3-4 Year Degree
