Join a leading global organization in their Product/ Metabolism discovery and safety studies team. Requires Scientific expertise in biological or chemical sciences of environmental, plant or mammalian studies.

JOB DESCRIPTION

---Participate as Lead Scientist with expertise in Data Chemistry, analysis testing utilizing Chromatography and other relative methodology.
---Support the use of data sets to optimize study design and overall understanding of the compounds behavior
---Manage studies placed with external CROs to ensure delivery of data of the appropriate quality to time and cost
---Key scientific contributor within the Dietary and/or Environmental Metabolism Teams
---Lead and coordinate the delivery of business critical data generated at contract research organizations, being responsible for protocol design, evaluating data and reviewing/authorizing company reports
---Represent the department at various working group meetings to address metabolism-related issues, and provide guidance for decision making purposes about compound progression

QUALIFICATIONS

--PhD degree in biological or chemical sciences with 3+ years experience or MS/ BS with 5+ years experience in Bench/ Data Chemistry, utilizing chromatography and other related testing methods.
---Requires knowledge of environmental and/or dietary metabolism (either environmental, plant or mammalian) studies or significant experience in natural product isolation and identification and/or xenobiotics
---Technical Writing skills required
---Experience of working in multi-disciplinary project teams
---Experience of accessing services through third-party organizations
---Active scientific participation and collaboration with colleagues in industry, contract research and regulatory agencies (EPA)
---Able to work in the USA without sponsorship, now or in the future.
