Sales Account Manager - Wisconsin

JOB DESCRIPTION

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting a well-established and growing AgriBusiness in their search for an Account Manager for their Wisconsin territory. Responsibilities will include:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop and execute long and short-term sales plans for key accounts in both existing product groups and emerging markets to achieve or exceed sales quotas and targets
- Enhance relationships with existing customers through regular communications, on-site visits, and feedback
- Cold call customer prospects to build the book of business
- Create customized solutions and business plans to meet customer needs and achieve departmental/business unit goals
- Write and deliver effective sales proposals, quotations and contracts for key accounts
- Maintain current and accurate financial reports, account activity reports, and metrics for reporting and forecasting
- Work with the Inside Sales Team to re-negotiate annual contracts
- Research surrounding markets to gain a thorough understanding of competitiion, potential growth, and industry trends.
- Mentor and assist in training the Inside Sales Team

QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelors Degree in Business, Agriculture or a related field
- 3+ years of prior Sales/Marketing, Management or Procurement experience
- Experience with agri-business, food, waste recycling, waste-to-energy a plus
- Knowledge of agricultural commodity markets is a plus
- Proven ability to apply sales processes and tactics to grow business
- Proven ability to build and maintain business relationships
- Excellent verbal/written communications skills
- Demonstrated skills in negotiation, analysis, organization, and priority management
- Computer skills - Outlook, Excel, Word
- Ability to travel regionally up to 20% of the time with some overnight travel
- Must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
