This position is a client focused position working with and under the direction of the Director of Civil Engineering to lead the project team, manage the progress, budget, schedule, and client satisfaction for civil engineering projects, and coordinate with architects, agencies, and other consultants in completion of the work. JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:
Design, directing and reviewing project design
Directing and mentoring junior civil engineers and cad designers
REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION:
Must have BSCE
Must have PE
Must have 5+ years experience in civil engineering
Must have 1+ years of Civil Project Management
Must possess working knowledge of civil engineering concepts and their application:
including storm water management, erosion control, design of water and sanitary infrastructure, grading design, and design of HMA and concrete pavements.
Must have knowledge of general zoning ordinance requirements and municipal site plan approval process.
Must have ability to utilize project management practices, principles, and tools to manage the work, schedule, and budget for civil engineering projects.
Must have ability to analyze information and exercise sound judgment in making decisions.
Must have ability to prepare written reports, letters and other correspondence as necessary.
Must possess ability to properly retain and dispense confidential information, work with clients, co-workers, agencies, and vendors, in a professional manner, and establish and maintain good working relationships.
Must have intermediate skills in application of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, or similar software,
Must have moderate to intermediate skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D
University - Bachelor`s Degree/3-4 Year Degree
