Construction Project Superintendent QUALIFICATIONS
Directs activities of workers concerned with construction of buildings and other construction projects by performing the following duties personally or through subcontractor supervisors. To insure projects are delivered on budget and on schedule. Multifamily, hospitality/hotel and commercial in Utah: SLC, Ogden, Provo, Park City.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Carries out all duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with the companys mission statement and vision.
Directs and is responsible to keep the work of subcontractors, contractors and owners on schedule as per the schedule maintained by the Superintendent.
Daily inspects work of all trades to make sure that all work meets Quality, Specification and Code requirements.
Meets weekly with subcontractors foremen to coordinate schedule.
Meets weekly with all on-site personnel to discuss safety.
Studies plans and specifications to arrange procedures for construction on basis of starting and completion times and staffing requirements for each phase of construction.
Notifies the Project Manager of any changes or document nonconformities found on the project.
Orders procurement of tools and materials to be delivered at specified times to conform to work schedules.
Confers with and directs supervisory personnel and subcontractors engaged in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specifications and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays.
Confers with supervisory and engineering personnel, inspectors and suppliers of tools and materials to resolve construction problems and improve construction methods.
Prepares or reviews reports on progress, materials used and costs and adjusts work schedules as indicated by reports.
Directs workers concerned with major maintenance or reconditioning projects for existing installations.
Delivers every project on schedule and on budget.
Prepares weekly updated three-week look-ahead schedule.
Is on-site safety supervisor.
Performs other duties as assigned by Director of Construction Services, Project Managers and/or Corporate Dictate.
Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly.

Manages subcontractors supervisors who supervise employees in the field. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and performance of the project. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization`s policies and applicable laws.
