This position is within the Court System. My client prefers someone with experience using a software product "Showcase" or any "Court Systems Program" They will consider someone with 1-5 yrs. experience. You will need to be a Business Analyst as well as a strong SQL .Net Developer. In addition, you must be a very good Technical person with Analytical Capabilities. You must have both. This is not a typical one or the other and be able to think outside the box. If they do not have the Court Systems or Showcase that is ok....but they need the strong .NET and SQL as well as Analytical Skills and Business Analyst.
Please note you will not be developing or building anything. You will be building to Add-On`s of the product. The Court is your client.
This is a skilled technical position requiring the ability to maintain both new and existing data storage/retrieval applications to solve identified business needs. Along with the ability to analyze and design enhancements as required. Your main function will be to re-code, decipher the code, support the court systems, write reports, new workflow`s and update fields as you go. You will always enhance the product and increase the workflow for the users. Prefer local or regional candidates but will consider candidates from outside the region with the right experience.
Essential Job Functions:
A. Function as a technical resource to facilitate the various stages of the data solutions life cycle including Investigation, Analysis, Design, Testing, Installation and Training, Maintenance, and Withdrawal
B. Investigate existing data solutions for opportunities to improve business processes and participate with management in the investigation of new technologies
C. Analyze proposed data solutions and report findings to management to assist in the planning of long and short term projects and goals
D. Design and develop data solutions using established tools that are consistent established goals and industry standards
E. Test developed solutions to ensure accurate compliance with project goals and established procedures, and document the results for management review
F. Document data solutions and participate in the installation and training of agency personnel as required to facilitate the smooth implementation of the data solution
G. Perform required modifications to data applications to meet changing business needs or as directed by law
H. Work with management and Systems personnel to plan and execute the transition of data solutions and the withdrawal of obsolete applications while ensuring the integrity of the Clerks data
I. Successfully work with non-technical personnel to facilitate the project life cycle including such tasks as researching business rules, training, problem resolution, etc.
J. Assist Systems and Technology personnel in the diagnoses of reported issues
K. Maintain and expand a personal working knowledge of industry standard development tools and procedures
L. Coordinate work and problem resolution with outside vendors as required
M. Maintain and enhance the integrity of the Clerks data, its accurate and timely storage/retrieval, and detailed audit logs pertaining to creation, change, and deletion of data
N. Work with management to develop alternative operating procedures as part of the established, agency emergency plans
O. Work with other agency information services representatives as required to achieve mutual work assignments and goals
P. Performs other duties as required QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:

Education and Experience:
- A Bachelors degree in a technology field, and 1-5 years experience in the analysis and development of data storage/access solutions, and specific experience with tools currently in use such as: SQL, VB, .NET, Workflow, C#; or an equivalent combination of skills and experience
- Acceptable completion of fingerprinting and a background check
