Inventory Control Manager

SUMMARY:

Jumpstart your career in West Plains, MO, and expand your professional portfolio. As the Inventory Control Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on the companys inventory. You will also be responsible for handling the companys products, supplies, and ensuring all business operations have adequate materials to achieve their objectives. This is a Direct Hire opportunity!

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in logistics or supply chain management or related field (preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience in warehouse/inventory management, fulfillment, and materials management
  • Power Equipment Certified (5+ years of experience)
  • Working knowledge of major ERP/WMS/MRP systems
    • Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle, JD Edwards, SAP
  • Knowledge of Microsoft packages
    • Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong analytical, organizational and leadership skills
  • Multi-site management experience
  • Prioritization and problem-solving skills essential
  • Ability to be self-managed and self-motivated
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Must be able to travel as needed to different plant sites

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage all aspects of inventory control, including but not limited to
    • Physical inventory counts, accuracy of inventory transfers, identification, receiving, picking, shipping and cycle counting for a multi-site operation
  • Develop Inventory Control and Warehouse staff by training and improvement programs
  • Partner with leads, supervisors and managers in the identification and reporting root-causes for operational errors
  • Design and implements recommendations for improving efficiency and inventory integrity in operational areas
  • Assist in implementation of new inventory control process to improve inventory accuracy of consigned materials at multiple sites
  • Document and revise departmental standard operating procedures as required
    • Train staff on revision to standard operating procedures
