Pediatric Speech-language pathologists (SLPs) work to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children.
Diagnosing, treating, and preventing speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
Performing screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
Perform basic job duties listed per the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
Adhere to all rules indicated with the American Speech Language-Hearing Association Code of Ethics.
Follow all rules indicated with the State Board of Georgia Speech Language Pathology - Code of Conduct: Rules and Regulations.

Keeping detailed records relating to patient conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress.
Reporting progress and current status to appropriate parties, which may include family members, teachers, or medical professionals.
Work in close relationship with the clinical team to provide high quality, multidisciplinary treatment and administrative customer service.
Complete job duties and tasks under the clinical supervision of the Clinical Director of Allied Health Services.
Know and become amenable with HIPAA and how it relates to the scope of the position.
Abide by all confidentiality requirements.
Act in a manner conducive to the role that is being conferred during this agreement in accordance with the values and mission of the company.
Work efficiently and effectively: Collect information from people through observation, clinical interviews, or surveys, SOAP/Progress Notes, and/or Psychological Reports in a timely manner.
Participate in marketing or community awareness programs, in-service training related to fulfilling the companys goals associated to growth and awareness.
Currently hold valid GA SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Licensure.
Have at least 1 year of experience providing evaluations and therapy for pediatrics with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
Ability to operate a personal computer using word processing, database and spreadsheet programs, web-based scheduling and EHR software, and basic typing skills sufficient to efficiently produce written speech evaluations, plan of cares, and SOAP notes.
Ability to show competence in working in a team-based environment.
University - Associate`s Degree/Graduate Diploma/2 Years
