Our client is a leader in their field and is looking to add a diverse Sr Mechanical Engineer on their corporate team as an individual contributor. The company is a worldwide organization that leads the way in their specific product line. This company has set an EPA standard for their specific product and technology. This is a key position for the company and they are looking for an individual ready to take on the challenges of designing out failures of equipment and machinery.
WHAT WILL YOU DO
Main tasks will be to design out failures of all equipment covering multiple sites in the US. Some international travel will be needed. This will require crossover and collaboration with operations, maintenance and reliability teams.
- Equipment specifications
- Contractor management
- Design fabrication engineering installation start up
- Support Capital Projects team
- Cover QA/QC for engineering contractors and equipment suppliers
- Drive uniformity on machines for all sites
- Participate in RCFA and FMECA
- Bring new and emerging technologies to the team and gain buy-in
- Perform and lead knowledge share with all facilities
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE CONSIDERED
Bachelors of Engineering - Mechanical or similar with 8+ years of experience in an industrial setting with heavy equipment design and redesign experience. Ability to travel 40% both nationally and internationally.
