this is a remote role! JOB DESCRIPTION
?Our client is looking for entrepreneurial candidates with 3+ years sales experience in the water/wastewater utility industry and/or software. This new position is in charge of directing business development, marketing, and channel partner activities for their solutions and services. The position is remote and will require some travel as restrictions are lifted. Ideal candidates will reside on the West Coast or Sunbelt States.
Your responsibilities will include:
Defining and executing sales and marketing strategy to plan the penetration of new regions
Finding new clients and maintaining existing clients relationships
Finding new partners to bring solutions to markets and maintain relations with current partners
Provide feedback to company leadership and product development as required
Participating in events to promote the company in the water and wastewater markets
Collaborating with the team in the US and the parent company in Europe
Participating in proposals and pricing, RFPs/RFQs, and contracting for potential clients
Track record of generating leads and increasing revenue
Around 3-5 years of work experience in the water/wastewater industry
Experience selling software solutions
Bachelor`s degree a plus, but not required
Ideal location for candidates would be California, but Nevada and Arizona would be the next best locations. After these states, any other Sun Belt state is acceptable.
