Reporting to the Facility Manager, the Elevator Operations employee is responsible for the day-to-day operational duties for a Lignite, ND grain handling facility. This includes taking direction from the facility manager while dumping trucks, cleaning the facility, doing yard work, testing grain, performing machine maintenance, etc. A strong Elevator Operations employee understands the importance of safety and ensures they work safely while maintaining and ensuring equipment is functioning at a high capacity. A good Elevator Operations employee can identify opportunities to increase efficiency in day-to-day operations and is very dependable and punctual. The best Elevator Operations employee takes tremendous pride in their work and is physically strong enough to engage in manual labour for most of the working day. A successful Elevator Operations employee openly takes direction and makes the customer their first priority in the facilitys yard. QUALIFICATIONS
CAPACITY OF THE ELEVATOR OPERATIONS EMPLOYEE
- Ability to take direction.
- Communication skills that allow the accurate flow of information amongst the team.
- Pride in their work, their team, and their actions.
- Elevator operations experience.
- Detail oriented.
- Valid drivers licence is required.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and to participate in manual labour.
