Work is in-office (downtown Salt Lake City on TRAX) Monday-Thursdays; Fridays remote.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Assistant Brand Manager - Social Media

The Social Media Assistant Brand Manager will be responsible for bringing brand strategy to life across all brand platforms in order to: drive loyalty, awareness, purchase intent, and conversion to help meet the brands growth goals. This position will report to the Senior Director of Brand Marketing and will work to internalize the brands strategy and marketing campaigns in order to develop and execute social media marketing programs including planning, content creation, organic social, community management, and liaising with paid social media and paid digital media planner.

In addition, this role will be in charge of developing and managing our social influencer program. This includes, but is not limited to, developing influencer briefs, identifying influencers, negotiating contracts, coordinating content, and maintaining ongoing relationships. Influencer marketing is an integral part of the brands marketing plan.

Essential Functions

Lead organic social media marketing efforts

Develop social media content calendar for various platforms

Recommend and develop tools and tactics to bring the brands strategy to life on social media

Act as main liaison between Brand and PR Agency especially relating to influencer and other VIP outreach initiatives

Ability to write copy for social media posts and direct copywriters where appropriate

Partner with paid social and paid digital colleagues to share insights to recommend social content and assets in order to make recommendations for continual improvement

Lead and develop influencer marketing program to meet brands objectives, including but not limited to: influencer briefs, negotiations, relationships and content management

Help develop the brand voice socially and be the steward for the brands tone on social media both in copy for posts and in response to consumers

Experience developing the social playbook as guidelines for content and community management

Lead consumer and trade promotion initiatives including coupon execution and management

Analyze internal and external data to evaluate brand performance vs. the competition

Support brand lead with additional functions as time allows

Job Qualifications

Education: Bachelors Degree

Minimum 4 years of Social Media Management experience

Strong project management skills and commitment to executional excellence

An ability to understand, internalize, and operationalize premium branding best practices

Quick turnaround and tenacity are important, along with the ability to proactively problem solve and work cooperatively with others

Ability to balance thinking strategically with diving deep into details and executing projects

Self-motivated, positive, and passionate. Excellent analytical problem solving skills

Exceptional oral and written communicator capable of explaining complex and/or abstract ideas in clear and succinct terms for senior management, trade customers, and consumers

Ability to work with internal and external cross-functional teams to accomplish various tasks

Experience in community management, engaging with social media followers and representing the brand as a critical touchpoint for consumers

Strong experience using social media platforms including, but not limited to: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Tik

QUALIFICATIONS

Job Qualifications: Consumer Packaged Goods/Retail

Education: Bachelors Degree

Minimum 4 years of Social Media Management experience
