JOB DESCRIPTION

Assistant Brand Manager ecommerce and digital marketing

The Ecommerce and Digital Marketing Assistant Brand Manager will be responsible for managing website (including consumer communication and e-commerce efforts) along with the associated digital marketing touchpoints that drive consumers to the site. This position is an integral member of our marketing team and will interact with our in-house creatives, programmers, and digital team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and understanding of KPIs for digital media and varied experience in project management.

Essential Functions

  • Recommends and executes plans on how to best bring the brands objectives to fruition using e-commerce and digital marketing based on reporting activities
  • Develops e-commerce strategy based on website analytics and performance
  • Responsively and rapidly manages ongoing changes and improvements in website code and creative assets
  • Works with creative team to ensure delivery of strong, on-brand, on-strategy content that supports media strategy and required specs, for website, digital ads, display, and other digital needs
  • Develops customer lists and manages email drip campaign strategy
  • Selects appropriate technical and tactical solutions: including plugins, optimization tools, or A/B testing tactics; works with other data management teams for any tagging/reporting requirements
  • Ensures analytics, conversion tracking, and audience-building is set up prior to any media campaign launch
  • Draws critical analysis from data, and optimizes website to improve performance
  • Manages website DTC e-commerce execution from start to finish

Job Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelors degree
  • 3+ years of relevant technical experience (fast-growing DTC brand experience a plus); some marketing work experience a strong plus
  • Technically proficient with web programming in Shopify+ (including all plugins and analytical tools) and additional ecommerce landscape and tools
  • Proficient in managing content, including briefing, overseeing and obtaining on-strategy creative assets from designers and copywriters
    analytically savvy enough to determine, manager, and track what should be done to improve the success of our website
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience in:
    • Google Optimize, Optimizely, and other A/B testing tools,
    • Google Analytics (pulling & interpreting data). Google Analytics Certification is a plus
  • Skilled in creating and/or evaluating creative assets that deliver brand messages in line with the brand voice you must have a good eye for creative look and feel
  • Quick turnaround and tenacity are important, along with the ability to proactively problem solve and work cooperatively with others
  • Good oral and written communicator capable of giving clear and succinct communication to creatives or executive summaries of tracking results to senior management
  • Understanding of MS Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
