WHY IS THIS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY?

Newly created manager role reporting to VP of Human Resources for growing company with multiple entities including oil and gas, real estate and investments. Incumbent must have willingness to be involved in a variety of areas including but not limited to payroll and benefits.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Creates, implements best practices policies, and programs
  • Actively promote, support and participate in driving culture
  • Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations for all relevant status and prepares information requested or require for compliance. Coordinates and supports audits/reviews
  • Works directly with VP of Human Resources and executive management team on issues involving employee relations such as; discipline, suspensions, terminations, EEOC claims and rule interpretations
  • Directs employee performance management program. Promotes the opportunity for a formal discussion by employees and their supervisors to review overall work performance
  • Directs compensation review process
  • Responsible for internship management program and recruitment activities
  • Special projects to include but are not limited to salary surveys for various functional areas
  • Maintain all personnel, payroll and related files to meet company, state, and federal regulations for 5 states
  • Process payroll for all salaried, hourly, domestic and seasonal employees.
  • Manage the benefit enrollment process annually
  • Assumes other job-related duties as assigned (website maintenance, marketing updates, press releases, and assistance with daily office management responsibilities)
QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have a Bachelors degree in related field
  • 8+ years of progressive experience as within human resources
  • Working knowledge of HR related laws and regulations
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HR practice areas of benefits and employee relations
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HRIS system and tracking
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels
  • Ability to identify and handle priorities and/or sensitive issues with discretion and confidentiality
  • Decisive and proactive

Education:
University - Bachelor`s Degree/3-4 Year Degree
