Great role for a hungry Business Development Manager looking for an exciting and rewarding opportunity with a growing Renewable company!

JOB DESCRIPTION

The purpose of the Business Development Manager, US is the development and closing of sales opportunities from qualified leads in the C&I and large scale solar segments in support of Ecosystem partners to drive revenue and increase the company`s market share!

Core Accountabilities:

  • Establish and foster relationships with Ecosystem partners that operate in the large-scale solar segment
  • Coordinate with Ecosystem partners to create and execute business plans to meet sales goals
  • Seek new business opportunities and facilitate meetings for Ecosystem partners
  • Analyze market trends and accordingly develop sales plans to increase awareness
  • Evaluate Ecosystem partner sales performance and recommend improvements
  • Ensure Ecosystem partners are informed and up to date on latest developments within our business
  • Address partner related issues, sales conflicts and pricing issues in a timely manner
  • Manage sales pipeline, forecast monthly sales and identify nw business opportunities
  • Work with partners to develop sales proposals, quotes, and pricings
  • Assist in Ecosystem partner marketing activities such as tradeshows, campaigns, and other promotional activities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver presentations
  • Track progress and provide feedback to the senior leadership team
  • Provide on-going account management to relevant customers
QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Either a combination of an Engineering or other technical Degree with business development experience or a Commerce or Business Degree with experience of selling a technical product or service


Experience:

  • Experience working in the Renewable Energy industry (specifically large scale solar projects) is preferred
  • Experience working autonomously in a high growth company
  • Experience tailoring contracts to prospective customer needs
  • Demonstrate track record in converting leads to grow company revenue


Key Skills and Attitude:

  • Strong sales closing ability
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to establish and build relationships
  • A positive attitude and plenty of initiative

Education:
University - Bachelor`s Degree/3-4 Year Degree
