WHAT YOU WILL DO
In this role your primary duties will be to provide proficiency on export & import customs compliance. You will be the lead in resolving any customs problem in the international business realm, while improving the efficiency and effectiveness of timely imports and exports. Be involved in analyzing the customs management process and implementing improved processes where needed. Become the subject matter expert (SME) for all issues related to import / export customs operations, compliance audit processes, product classification and international supply chain planning and risk assessment from a customs compliance perspective. QUALIFICATIONS
Do you have strong attention to detail and expertise in customs clearance and compliance?
WHAT IT TAKES
- Bachelors degree in Business, International Business, Logistics, Suppl Chain, or Business Administration
- Minimum 4 years of experience in customs trade compliance including export shipping (ocean, rail and air) and documentation, filing AES (Automated Export System) and selecting appropriate HTS classifications.
- We are seeking excellent interpersonal and communications across multiple internal and external business functions.
- Strong Business acumen.
- Customers Brokers license ideal
- Prefer experience with 6 Sigma
- Multilingual ideal
- Must be able to get a passport
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 15% (some international)
