Seeking a well-rounded Electrical Engineer, Maintenance & Project, with strengths primarily in Electrical & Power Distribution and then Instrumentation & Controls. Strong Company. Eastern NC location. We are always seeking Chemical, EHS, Electrical & Mechanical Engineers & Managers (nationwide).

*Provide solutions to recurring maintenance problems by analyzing delays and failure analyses.
*Engineering support for Maintenance department in performing preventive maintenance (PM) and repair activities for critical plant equipment. Working closely with area personnel in developing and implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programs. *Implementation of technical improvements and the application of spare parts and materials to extend life and prevent equipment deterioration. ?
*Assist in the planning and implementation of turnarounds and major engineering projects. Support the project leader in all phases of major capital projects. ?
*Assist in the preparation of maintenance and capital budgets. ?
*Designs, starts, and monitors preventative and predictive maintenance procedures for the ?major electrical and instrument equipment ?
*Identify and interface with preferred equipment manufacturers, specialists, and technical support consultants
*Develop, maintain and update maintenance documentation for critical plant equipment. *Assist Predictive Maintenance Technicians with analyzing and condition monitoring data interpretation, recommend actions based on these analyses.
*Provide technical support to stationary and rotating equipment maintenance and ?reliability *Evaluates electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and ?conducting research programs; applying knowledge of electricity and materials. ?
*Prepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. *Keeps equipment operational by following manufacturer`s instructions and established ?procedures; requesting repair service. ?
*Completes projects by training and guiding technicians. ?
*Continuous training and development
*Technical responsibility for the instrument and electrical equipment. Will be responsible for getting additional resources for troubleshooting and correcting problems
*Evaluate equipment condition and recommend the advisability of its continued operation from a safety and equipment life stand point and to develop long range policies for equipment repair and replacement.
*BSEE degree and five plus years of industrial experience (power distribution, control, and instrumentation) is preferred. Should have knowledge and experience in the troubleshooting of large rotating equipment, motor controls, and programmable logic controllers. The incumbent should be familiar with regulations and the National Electric Code. ?
*Project Management: Planning, scheduling, and control; budgeting, cost control
*Working knowledge of ISA Standards and International Codes. ?

*PREFER: PE-Professional Engineer technical certification QUALIFICATIONS
