The Regional Operations Manager will be closely connected to our senior management team and will have the ability to make a significant impact on overall corporate success.
Responsible for all elements of the clinical laboratory operations process flow, including Courier, Mail/Materials distribution, Specimen Collection, Specimen Processing, Patient Receiving and Patient Registration.
Oversee and manage all operational activities in given regional area, including patient service centers, specimen processing, and specimen collection
Willing to travel to different laboratory sites on a continuing basis
Augment and supervise procedures for dealing with troubleshooting and problem-solving in all areas of laboratory operations process flow
Develop and modify procedures to improve processes as needed
Set up and monitor programs/protocol/procedures, to ensure the accuracy of patient registration, specimen collection, and processing
Recognize and adhere to HIPAA policies, procedures and regulations to ensure patient confidentiality
Perform all administrative duties including excellent customer service to all patients, clients, and employees
Answer phones in a timely manner following company standards on proper phone etiquette
Responsible for all operational activities in the patient receiving, collection, and processing areas
Responsible for corporate compliance/quality improvement in the specimen collection and specimen handling area of the laboratory
Provide continual improvements in all areas of responsibility through the ongoing use of IQ tools
Facilitate and support sales covering the regional area and manage operations
Maintain company`s corporate culture at all facilities
Maintain compliance with all corporate policies, protocols, and procedures at the site
7-10 years progressive experience in a clinical laboratory setting
Leadership experience required
Bachelor`s degree preferred, high school graduate or equivalent required
Good communication skills
Accurate and detail oriented
Good organizational skills
Experience with management of staff
Ability to manage workload and delegate
