The Master Scheduler plays a key role in our organization through evaluation of enterprise demand and firm planning of those requirements. They partner with cross-functional team members to drive customer on time delivery performance, build plan and inventory target attainment, and drives the balanced and effective use of plant manufacturing and material resources by utilizing a transparent and rigorous S&OP process. JOB DESCRIPTION
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES QUALIFICATIONS
? Utilizes the ERP system, professional judgment, and team knowledge to create and manage constrained production plans.
? Partners with manufacturing supervisors and team leaders to create finite work center production schedules, validate results, and drive data integrity improvements.
? Manages near and long range changes in demand with Sales, Manufacturing, and Purchasing.
? Modifies the schedule as possible to meet customer requests, and communicates timely status updates through ERP system and other tools.
? Clearly communicates schedule requirement and plan attainment information through daily production meeting(s), email, and direct conversation. Collaborates with the team to proactively find solutions for issues affecting our ability to meet requirements.
? Performs general troubleshooting of the system related to variances and exceptions found through daily activities.
? Maintains and improves build plan integrity by performing regular review of job order population and troubleshooting variances and exceptions impacting planning accuracy; partners with stakeholders to resolve/improve.
? Supports/creates monthly build plan and shipment forecast. Identifies opportunities to fill projected shortfalls if necessary.
? Drives progress and supports the team on our S&OP journey. Views daily tasks as part of a connected process.
? Generates ideas, creates and participates in projects, and implements new processes to continually improve personal and company performance.
? Performs back-up and support activities for other positions in the Supply Chain group as required to effectively maintain business performance.
? Five years of Planning, Supply Chain, or Operations experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a make-to-order operation
? Experience effectively utilizing an ERP system to perform essential functions
? Involvement with cross-functional team collaboration and continuous improvement activities
? Proven successful experience in facilitation and/or participation in a stable Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning process.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
? Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering required
? Positive outlook and continuous improvement orientation
? ERP proficiency
? MS office application fluency
? Strong data analysis skills
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills
? Team problem solving
? APICS certification
? Process manufacturing experience
? Background in Aerospace industry
? Syteline ERP experience
