ENGINEERED SOLUTIONS CONSULTANT

Territory is: Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, New Mexico and Arizona. As this is a large territory, 3 nights travel per week making local in-person planned calls with clients and engineers is required.

Engineered Solutions Consultants are provided with a laptop, iPad, iPhone as well as the support of an in-house Engineering Department; generous benefits and a company vehicle allowance.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Engineered Solutions Consultant works in coordination with Marketing, Engineering and Operations teams to grow the business in their territory.

Responsibilities include: Provide technical support and resources to Engineering Design; Coordinate drawing and specification development with Engineering; Manage projects through design, bid and construction phases to ensure flawless execution; coordinate production and delivery with contractor and Manufacturing; Identify and penetrate key engineering and client accounts; Develop a territory specific marketing and call plan focused on business growth; Organize and lead large and small scale technical presentations; Maintain an accurate client database and develop a routine repeat touch process; Manage project and opportunity pipeline.

QUALIFICATIONS

College diploma required. Consideration given to candidates with college diplomas/degrees in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (S.T.E.M.)

5+ years of experience in sales of infrastructure construction materials, with experience in promoting to engineering teams.

Candidates will possess the ability to learn and apply a wide range of engineering and technical skills related to Storm water, Wastewater and Water applications. Design considerations related to Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural and Geotechnical Engineering are frequently encountered on projects.As well, candidates must possess the ability to evaluate the client`s needs to develop and communicate unique solutions. Excellent communication skills are necessary - this position is responsible to provide frequent technical presentations in large group settings, prepare proposals, and meet with senior engineering clients.

University - Associate`s Degree/Graduate Diploma/2 Years
