The hiring company is a New Stock Exchange investment bank/financial advisor in mid-Manhattan, 2600 employees. Company is profitable and growing; great benefits package and performance bonus. Company is anxious to hire. Quick interview process, phone screen then in person technical interview, perhaps two, in Manhattan. After that, brief interview with HR. We have been doing business with the Company for over 5 years and have a strong relationship with HR and the IT organization. No relo or out of town candidates. There are two identical PeopleSoft HCM Developer roles. One is perm, must US Citizen or Green Card, the second is a consultant, 6 months, possibility for extension.
This is a PeopleSoft HCM Developer role. Candidate will work with various PeopleSoft modules in a global environment on an Oracle/Unix platform. Responsibilities include support, maintenance, and enhancement of modules within the HR suite (Core HR, Benefits Admin, Payroll Interface, ePrformance, eCompensation, eProfile). Must be comfortable setting up integration points and configuration (production support). Web Services and Integration Broker are "must have" skills. Candidate will work in a team enviornment, good comm skills are key. QUALIFICATIONS
Technical Skills (7 + years):
People Tools experience working with PS HR suite on an Oracle/Unix platform.
HCM 9.2, tools 8.54+
Expertise with Oracle PL/SQL, including the ability to identify and troubleshoot performance issues. Ad hoc query analysis.
Good verbal/written skills. Candidate will work with the IT team and interface directly with end uses. He/she must be understood.
Ability to resolve problems, either individually or by coordinating with finance management and technical support staff.
Capable of outlining specifications for system enhancements.
Experience/expertise with general configuration concepts related to HR modules
Experience with web services and integration broker
Candidate must have skills in: PeopleTools: App Designer, PeopleCode, SQR, App Engine, XML Publisher, Integration Broker, SOAP/Rest based Web services. AWE & Oracle PL/SQL.
Nice to Haves:
Unix shell experience
No operations people or lengthy start up for new hire
