Interprets operational indicators to detect census changes and increases or decreases in volume,
which could impact staffing levels, revenues or expenses. Adjusts staffing levels accordingly.
Assists in the development of organization goals. Monitors progress towards goals for assigned
areas of responsibility.
Participates in the development of clinical orientation. Responsible for orientation of organization personnel, either directly or by delegating to another staff member. Implements and evaluates the orientation program for organization personnel. Ensures all staff providing clinical care meet State,
Federal and ACHC regulations and standards.
Evaluates the educational needs of clinical staff and plans on-going education and training. Ensures
all staff providing clinical care meet State, Federal and ACHC regulations and standards
Ensures compliance with all local, State, Federal and ACHC regulations/standards. Serves as the on-
site coordinator for all State, Federal and ACHC audit surveys.
Promotes home health referrals in the health care community by participating in marketing and sales
Assists the Administrator in the preparation and administration of the organizations budget.
Monitors clinical expenses to ensure compliance with the budget.
Monitors the use of supplies and ensures compliance with formulary. Monitors expenses related to supply use and makes appropriate decisions to reduce supply expense when variances occur. Ensures adequate equipment is available for the provision of patient services. Makes
recommendations for new products and equipment as applicable.
Stays informed about changes in the field of nursing, therapy and home health care; shares
information with appropriate organization personnel.
In the absence of the Administrator, the Clinical Director will become the acting Administrator and
will be vested with authority to act on behalf of the Administrator.
Drives a motor vehicle to designated locations
Manages the Performance Improvement Program. Responsible for the clinical outcomes of the agency. Monitors all outcomes and adverse reports for the office and develops and implements
appropriate plans of correction to improve clinical outcomes.
