We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Analyst to join a profitable, growing division of a 50+ year old privately held global manufacturer ($100M+ revenues). The successful candidate will play a key role, partnering with Corporate Finance, Sales and Business Unit General Managers to relay information to ensure orders, revenue, profit, and working capital goals are consistently met. We are looking for a Sales Analyst with strong analytical abilities who can effectively perform a variety of financial and sales analyses with accuracy and timeliness.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create Excel and other reports defining Sales activity, and compiling extensive metrics versus plans on weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Participate in the compilation of Weekly Reports to all Stakeholders; this includes updating forecasts, collecting and verifying weekly reports, combining sources, verifying all formulae, reviewing variances with reporting units and distributing the Reports to all appropriate parties.
  • Interact with, and provide feedback to the VP of Sales and Regional Sales Managers
  • Assists in Ops Reviews by compiling data by account in Google docs, reviewing the Financial package, and compiling an Executive Summary with data from the CEO.
  • Partner with other Finance staff for reporting/analysis/budgeting issues as required.
  • Compile/calculate Sales commissions for internal domestic & international Sales staff (8-12 people) and external Sales Rep firms.
  • Perform weekly/monthly pull from ERP systems (Infor Visual and AVTEK), to combine Sales into one data set; track all commissions by territory and rep, and perform incentive tracking
  • Handle Rep tracking; maintain Master file with overall summary of territories, contacts and products.
  • As Salesforce Administrator:
  • Create all processes and workflows within the system, lead uploads, campaign creation, and verify closed/won opportunities
  • Work with Sales Team and Business Unit Managers to new Salesforce functionality
QUALIFICATIONS

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or similar
  • 2-5 years experience in Sales Analysis, Financial Analysis, or Business Analysis.
  • Experience working with ERP systems required (ideally Infor Visual or AVTEK, but can vary)
  • Experience with Salesforce required, must have Administrator experience.
  • Proficiency in Excel required.
  • Experience with SQL or Access desired.
  • Hands-on approach, effective leadership ability and overall business acumen.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, multi task and meet deadlines in a timely manner with accuracy.
  • Proven business partnership skills with the demonstrated ability to work in a matrix organizational environment.

  • Ambitious and flexible
  • Microsoft Office experience required
