  • Develop, execute and/or monitor quality plans and quality engineering tasks, as well as, manufacturing process validations and controls to ensure compliance with established requirements and Quality Standards.
  • Ensure that supplier surveillance activities affecting product quality and customer satisfaction are effectively developed, controlled, monitored and reported.
  • Go through the customer specifications and understand their quality requirements and standards.
  • Prepare the Project Surveillance Plan (PSP) based on the Customer specification and closely monitor the manufacturing of the various equipment. PSP serves as a planning and communications tool for the project team, its customer, and its suppliers.
  • Review the requisitions for various components before they are converted into purchase orders, to make sure that the quality requirements are clearly documented on the PO and the supplier is made aware of the various quality measures and the inspections.
  • Review and comment on the contractor documents and submittal of Inspection and Test Plan (ITP), and various procedures Ensure that the method of testing materials is in accordance with the latest International Standards.
  • Verify quality reports and investigation reports. Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) where applicable and report to the product engineers for the disposition. Regularly update quality check records & provide feedback
  • Evaluate inspection reports and assist in the development of remedial action plans to ensure conformance to specifications and standards
  • If the supplier requests to deviate from the client specification or the standard requirements for better results, raise a Request for Deviation and submit for approval / comments.
  • Closely monitor the manufacturing of various components according to the PSP and coordinate the inspection visits with the suppliers, the client and the inspector and provide the Project Manager with status updates. Inform the Project Manager immediately if there is deviation from any of the specifications.


  • BS Degree in Engineering
  • 2 5 years of experience in an engineering or technical environment
  • Ability to analyze and resolve problems related to manufacturing and improving product quality
  • Able to read and understand drawings and engineering documents
  • Able to work on several projects simultaneously and adapt to a changing work environment.
  • Proficiency in the use of computer software, preferably with all Microsoft Office products.

University - Bachelor`s Degree/3-4 Year Degree
