WHY IS THIS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY?

Our client has added an exciting new position for a UX Designer! As the new UX Designer, you will be part of a team that will lead, design and create the best digital experience for customers. High collaboration skills are required as you will work with the Marketing, Communications and IT Departments This is an opportunity just outside of East Des Moines.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Duties for this UX Designer include:
* Design UI elements and define interaction design for consumer-facing web properties
* Create wireframes, user flows, and other UX deliverables as needed
* Lead user experience projects based on business goals and analytical insights
* Update, build and maintain UX/UI libraries
* Be the brand champion ensuring consistent user and brand experience leveraging style guides, best practices and standards
* Stay up-to-date with the latest web and mobile design trends, best practices and technologies and help keep other team members informed, as well

QUALIFICATIONS

Top technical skills required:
* Adobe Creative Suite and/or Sketch
* Prototype tools - Envision, Marvel or Axure
* Optimization and personalization testing
* Experience with usability testing

Qualifications for this UX Designer include:
* Solid portfolio of web and mobile interface designs with your role on each clearly defined
* 3-5 years of experience in Adobe Creative Suite and/or Sketch
* Excellent problem solver and requirements gatherer in collaboration with the digital services team and internal clients
* Demonstrated adherence to a digital creative process and the time and resources required to produce quality work on time and within specifications of the project
* Exceptional design and concept development skills, attention to detail and organizational skills
* Excellent oral, written and presentation skills with the ability to clearly communicate ideas through wireframes, user flows, mockups, briefs, sketches, etc.
* Ability to quickly experiment, test and iterate user interface concepts
