Investor Relations Associate Job Overview
Provides internal client service support for a variety of investor relations and communications requirements such as presentations, meeting and conference management, financial models. Responsible for research of, and financial and market analysis on, client and peer companies, related industries and the financial community. Provides support to IR Account Managers. JOB DESCRIPTION
Research: Support account managers requirements including: o Develop peer and benchmark comparative models.
o Create institutional investor profiles in preparation for client marketing trips.
o Assist with client website updates and perform ongoing client website audits.
o Maintain client financial models and analyst models.
o Target potential investors, analysts and media.
o Develop and manage investor outreach and investor database. Update with meetings, calls and conferences.
o Provide updated client reports on investor communications and financial community perception.
o Analyze institutional ownership of client companies and shareholder profiles.
o Monitor client and peer stock activity, press releases, analyst coverage, and media coverage.
o Research and analyze various IR, financial, compliance and governance topics.
o Develop valuation models to determine a 12 month price of our clients for internal use.
o Maintain peer annual report files.
o Create and update client analyst/investor presentations.
o Create/update financial models and spreadsheets for analysis.
o Design, develop and update quarterly fact sheets, backgrounders, and company profiles. o Create institutional ownership, financial analysis, analyst models and topical reports as
o Maintain contact management system for clients o Target prospective investors for clients
o Develop clients` institutional ownership report and analysis, as well quarterly reports showing financial and market performance comparatives.
o Coordinate client investor meetings and conference schedules.
o Prepare investor packages, materials for conferences to include printing presentations, releases, developing investor profiles, coordinating shipment of materials, etc.
o Create and update marketing presentations.
o Create and update Pinnacle Value5M Process presentations, client list, brief bios as needed. o Analyze, negotiate, and manage service provider and reference sources relationships for Kei
o Be the in-house service provider expert and manage other various vendors. (Bloomberg, Bigdough, etc.)
o Maintain bi-weekly Seminar Schedule and distribute to account reps for their reference.
o Provide support to Chairman & CEO as needed. QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years business, investor relations, finance or accounting experience
Bachelors degree in finance, public relations, marketing, or securities law
Advanced degree (MBA) or progression to CFA preferred
Understanding of capital markets
Strong oral and written communication, project management, analytical, research, and client relations skills
Ability to generate high quality work product in a timely fashion.
Highly proactive, independent thinker and worker. Able to generate solutions, adapt to changes and multi-task proficiently.
Strong organizational skills with intense attention to detail
High level of computer proficiency, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Word
Working knowledge of Bloomberg
Database management experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced high stress environment
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
