Great opportunity to join a Global Manufacturing Leader as a plant Process/ Plastics Engineer responsible for analyzing and developing solutions to support the extrusion, printing, and converting processes. This includes design and development of new processes, modifications of existing processes, cost improvement initiatives, and quality improvement projects. Requires current experience in web handling, extrusion, blow molding, or blown film JOB DESCRIPTION
--- Identify and implement new/improved methods of manufacturing for delivering finished products and improved profitability. QUALIFICATIONS
--- Drive cost improvement projects to remove costs from current and new operations.
--- Serves as the primary technical lead for process and equipment improvement projects.
--- Involved with equipment modifications, upgrades, and new installations. Stay abreast of new equipment / process developments in the Plastics Extrusion field.
--- Assist with process issues, quality concerns and in identifying new or improved products or methods for delivering value-added products to customers.
--- Troubleshoot manufacturing problems and identify solutions with data based decision making.
--- BS in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering Required.
--- Experience with varied manufacturing processes such as extrusion, printing, laminating and converting.
--- Knowledge of statistical techniques and tools; Design of experiments, Lean Six Sigma, SPC or equivalent
--- Demonstrated flexibility within a high performance work environment and matrix managed organization.
--- Knowledge of statistics and DMAIC methodology preferred
--- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the USA without current or future restrictions
University - Bachelor`s Degree/3-4 Year Degree
