WHY IS THIS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY? Our client is a global leader and we are searching for a corporate Internal Communications Manager to support their North American business strategy. Working in partnership with the Head of Internal Communications and the Corporate Leadership Team, the Communications Manager will strategise, advise, and implement key change management, strategic communications, and employee engagement programs for the organization
--- Serve as the communications champion of the corporate brand, ensuring consistent implementation of corporate identity, and culture. QUALIFICATIONS
--- Participate with the global team to influence the strategic agenda, implementation plans, and provide coordination for resulting priority projects.
--- Create and manage internal communications, engagement and business partnering support for the Leadership Team.
--- Oversees the editorial, content, and quality of internal communication. (Including announcements, localization of e-newsletter for function, talking points, slides, collateral materials, leader chats, town halls, posters, and other materials)
--- Manage special internal communications projects including internal events and/or campaigns and cross-functional work streams that support the strategy.
--- Manage site/functional internal communications including Town Halls, Leader Chats, Site Communications and localized announcements and messaging.
--- Engages with leadership team to identify internal and engagement challenges, needs, and opportunities; and to provide counsel and direction on implementing priority initiatives.
--- Contributes to the leadership team strategy sessions, priority setting, and ongoing employee and customer engagement in the function, while providing advice and communications counsel regarding internal and engagement customer-focused communications.
--- Provides support and measures the effectiveness of the employee engagement programs, develops recommendations on interventions, implementation, and ongoing metrics
--- Bachelors degree required, advanced degree(s) or certification in internal and external communications, public relations, and corporate level strategy within a matrix organization. Industry background should be in pharmaceuticals, food, agriculture, or agrichem.
--- Requires strong background in strategic communications approaches, principles and practices (planning, implementation, tactics) 10+ years of experience.
--- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, consistent messaging
