We are seeking an Investment Associate for a tremendous opportunity to join a privately owned, diversified investment holding company offering direct exposure to senior leadership and investment portfolio of the firm. This position will provide analytical and research support for the investment portfolio, which is largely oriented toward indirect investing through fund structures in domestic and international public equities, hedge funds, and private equity, across buyout, venture, energy and emerging market themes.
The Investment Associate will work alongside senior investment professionals and also interact with highly seasoned investors across the world, with which the organization collaborates and partners. Responsibilities will include:
Perform fund-level and asset class analyses to inform investment decisions
Research and analyze market and industry trends
Perform due diligence on public equity, private equity funds and companies for prospective investments across industries
Develop, maintain and optimize financial models and analytic reports
Compose investment recommendations, presentations and update materials
Develop comprehensive knowledge of investment funds and opportunities
Attend annual meetings of our investment partners and provide updates to the team QUALIFICATIONS
BA/BS in finance, economics or quantitative field and 3+ years of experience in financial, banking, investment or consulting field.
Demonstrated financial modeling abilities and adaptability to new systems and software. Skills in using Bloomberg a plus.
The successful candidate will possess enthusiasm for learning and a passion for investing with a strong curiosity about public and private equity markets.
Additional attributes of the candidate for this position will include self-motivated, self-starter, high achiever with strong quantitative, analytical and problem solving mindset and skills.
Strong communication skills; ability to express ideas clearly both orally and in writing.
This position may include up to 20% travel, predominantly domestic but potential for international travel as well.
University - Bachelor`s Degree/3-4 Year Degree
