Ideally looking for someone who can produce $20+mm in loans annually without relying on branches, signage or name recognition. JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of commercial clients, developing referral sources, underwriting loan requests, selling deposit products, negotiating terms and pricing, overseeing the closing process and overall relationship management. Identify and attract new, profitable business relationships. Analyze and underwrite new credit relationships. Negotiate fees, interest rates, and credit terms on credit facilities. Be active within the business community by joining various business associations, civic groups and/or non-profit organizations. Cross-sell cash management, trust and investment services. Focus will be on operatiing companies and C&I loans not CRE loans. QUALIFICATIONS
The ability to conduct an analysis of an applicants credit status and recommend various solutions. Strongly prefer completion of an undergraduate degree in a business related discipline. Minimuim of 5 years of lending experience, preferably 10+ years. Prefer middle market experience defined as $10mm to $250mm in revenues. Sweet spot is $10mm to $100mm. Require local market knowledge and experience in Raleigh or nearby surrounding area. Strong financial statement and analytical skills. Excellent communication skills. Strong sales skills.
