Business Banking Relationship Manager

This wonderful opportunity requires proficiency in all areas of business and commercial banking; respectable credit skills, customer service, sales and negotiations skills, substantial bank product knowledge, and capacity to operate with limited supervision. You will be responsible for new loan generations of loans, deposits, trust/wealth management and cash management.

This position will work with executive leadership to field warm/qualified referrals!

JOB DESCRIPTION

Business Banking Relationship Manager

Responsibilities

  1. Correctly structures and successfully negotiates loan transactions with clients and prospects within accepted risk tolerance levels.
  2. Cross-sells all bank loan, deposit, treasury management and electronic products as appropriate to client needs.
  3. Manages loan renewals, collection efforts on all past due loans and loans in default in a judicious manner and sustains a high level of asset quality within their portfolio.
  4. Upholds a satisfactory level of familiarity with target markets and clients.
  5. Obtains, previews, and conducts preliminary viability analysis on loan applications and associated documents. Safeguards that applications are whole as to core requirements and all other initial items have been received or requested prior to submission to underwriting.
  6. Achieves specific assigned loan origination and deposit growth performance expectations including Commercial Loan Portfolio production and Growth , Depository Relationship production and Growth , and intelligent/relevant ancillary introductions.
  7. Reviews and presents loan presentations to manager, offers review of loan documents, and provides closing review of all other associated loan documentation and closing items.
  8. Prepares management reports as required.
  9. Safeguards electronic loan files are properly documented and preserved.
QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Skills and Experience:

  1. Minimum of 5 (five) or more relevant commercial credit experience in a traditional bank environment
  2. World class customer service and sales skills
  3. Outstanding organizational skills and extremely detail oriented
  4. Deep credit analysis experience and loan documentation skills
  5. Bachelors Degree (B.S.) from an accredited college or university or four or more years related credit experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

University - Bachelor`s Degree/3-4 Year Degree
