Job Description:
Northeast Asphalt, Inc. in Greenville, WI is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to work in our Greenville maintenance and fabrication facilities. NEA shops provide mechanical support for all types of heavy equipment, as well as repair & fabrication of aggregate & asphalt producing equipment.
This position is full-time and may include many various Mechanic duties, but solid experience on diesel engines is required. Must also have experience repairing and maintaining hydraulics, pneumatics, performing maintenance and repair on air brakes, clutches and drivelines, performing fleet maintenance, engine rebuilding, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, etc. A good working knowledge of commercial repair facilities is also helpful, including parts procurement, repair time reporting and shop Safety.
Preferred applicants will have at least 5 years experience as a shop mechanic, and have some documented formal training in diesel repair. The successful candidate will also be a responsible self-starter who can be relied upon to complete projects on budget while under a tight schedule. This position carries a high degree of responsibility, but is rewarded with a competitive wage & benefits package.
