This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy. GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION Under general supervision incumbent is responsible for a variety of duties including keys/lock systems, general maintenance, repairs and upkeep for college facilities. Will provide assistance to skilled trades (e.g. Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Carpentry and Welding) Provides general set-ups for college functions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Maintain and document monthly inspections (e.g. fire extinguishers, elevators, alarms, AEDs). 2. Maintain grounds, buildings and equipment. 3. Install, maintain and repair irrigation systems. 4. Provide set-ups for scheduled college events. 5. Provide general repairs on and within buildings. 6. Keep parking facilities properly marked, striped and cleaned. 7. Assist with skilled trades repairs and maintenance (e.g. electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and welding). 8. Provide snow and ice removal during inclement weather. 9. Provide vehicle maintenance & cleaning. Document maintenance and repairs. 10. Preparation & Painting Interior and exteriors of college buildings. 11. Carpentry and drywall repair. 12. General locksmith duties. 13. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned. Salary: $9.99/hour. This is a full time position with benefits.
