Responsibilities include field inspections of commercial and residential establishments and construction projects to ensure compliance with code, animal and nuisance ordinances. Responds to complaints of possible violations; preforms inspections and determines compliance with applicable code, standards and ordinances; identifies violations; prepares written report of findings and identifies needed corrective actions. Performs other work as assigned. Must have high school diploma or equivalent and a valid Kansas drivers license. Experience is preferred but not required.
