Job Summary:
Performs general housekeeping duties, enhancing and maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the campus. Assists in the set up/take down of events held on campus. Requirements include the physical ability to perform manual tasks related to general housekeeping duties, including some heavy lifting and moving.
Special Instructions to Applicants:
* Mostly indoor working environment. But will include occasional outdoor exposure
* Involves working with a variety of cleaning supplies, chemicals and equipment
* Requires substantial strength and stamina
* Must have valid drivers license
* Involves frequent bending, pushing, standing, kneeling, climbing and walking
* Involves repetitive use of hands, grasping, pulling, gripping, and working with arms raised above head and other strenuous activities
* May need to lift up to 45 pounds. If an object weighs more than 45 pounds, OSU-Oklahoma City requires this to be a two person lift.

Field of Study: High school education or equivalent job related experience

Experience: * One to two years related work experience in housekeeping and the operation of commercial cleaning equipment

Experience: * Two or more years of college or public school housekeeping experience
Skills, Proficiencies and Knowledge * Knowledge of hard floor and carpet restoration
Hiring Range:
$7.64 per hour with a generous benefits package
