Job Summary:
Supervise and assign tasks to employees assigned to work within the leader's defined zone.
Inspect assigned zone for conformance with established maintenance standards.
Perform routine labor and equipment operation to support maintenance and development of the University grounds.
Education and Experience
Required
Degree High School/GED
Experience: Three years experience in grounds maintenance or related fields. A minimum of one year experience in a supervisory position.
Certifications, Registrations, or Licenses Service Technician's license after hire and a Valid Oklahoma drivers license before hire.
Skills, Proficiencies and Knowledge Job requirements include occasional use of respirator equipment. Therefore, individual is required to pass a medical exam to assure physical ability to wear, us and perform work in respirator equipment, as it applies to herbicide and insecticide application only. Ability to identify insects and diseases that commonly infest the University grounds. Ability to identify common plant materials on the University grounds. Ability to supervise personnel. Job lifting requirements may exceed 100 pounds.
