Job Summary:
Prepare computer generated drawings of campus renovation and repair projects funded through the Physical Plant Work Order System.
Performs field work to locate and record existing conditions that support the development of electronic drawing files.
Provide direction, guidance and training for the work activities of the CADD Technician assigned to Project Support Services.
Provide assistance as needed to Project Support Services staff in researching and assembling project and facility information by searching Physical Plant records, files and building record drawings for facility information.
Education and Experience
Required
Field of Study: Computer Drafting
Degree: Vocational/Technical
Experience: Two years of experience using AutoCad computer-aided drafting software and knowledge/experience in field surveying.
Certifications, Registrations, or Licenses: Valid drivers license
Skills, Proficiencies and Knowledge: Must be skilled and trained in AutoCad computer drafting, have a knowledge of survey/measurement techniques, and be able to lift 50 pounds.

Experience: Some construction experience desired.
Hiring Range:
$13.90 - $16.05 hr.
