Job Summary:
We are looking for a person with a strong back ground in Commercial Construction with the ability to relate to young people seeking a career in Construction Management, be a mentor to our students, and actively recruit new students. Set up programs that will enhance involvement and retention of our students. Teach courses in one or more of the following areas: construction materials & procedures, site development, project lay-out, construction estimating, interior finishes & specialties, construction documents & shop drawing review, blueprint reading, wall & roof systems, plus the capacity to physically show the students how to do the work. Supervise and maintain shop facilities, equipment and materials. Prepare and maintain course objectives, outlines and lesson plans. Participate in committee work, student advisement, professional development, recruitment activities, retention activities and other department and institutional service areas.
Final candidates will be required to complete a characteristic analyses instrument as well as teach a 20-30 minute lesson.

Operate a Total Station
Estimate a commercial Project
must maintain a positive and upbeat attitude to enhance the learning/teaching environment.
