Job Summary:
Assist with the collections of Federal Perkins, Health Professions, and Institutional Student Loans for three campuses OSU-Stillwater, OSU-Okmulgee, and OSU-Center for Health Sciences. Analyze borrower's accounts and initiate appropriate updates in Loan Management System (LMS). Maintain knowledge of Perkins Loan Program, Health Professions Student Loan Programs, Institutional Loan Funds and collection laws to implement collection procedures. Process applications for deferments, postponements, and/or cancellations on borrowers. Complete borrower's request for Consolidation Agencies online and by paper. Process Exit Interviews on borrowers for student loans online through Mapping your Future and by paper form. Analyze LMS reports and process the needed corrections in LMS. Maintain excellent oral and written communication skills. Promotional opportunities may be available through established career development plan.
Required
Degree High School/GED
Experience: One year of related experience.
